Walleye Fishing

Several of our lakes, and some fast water is where you can do some very serious Walleye fishing. Some of them can grow to twenty pounds and more! This jade green and yellow beauty will not only give you quite a battle, but, if you win, the great joy is in the eating! I doubt very much if there is a fish anywhere that tastes as good as fresh Walleye!

The black species, is also a real treat for the palate. It ranges in weight from 1 lbs (0.45kg) to 20 lbs (9.07kg) and we find this species of Walleye in our Long Lake territory. The yellow species with vibrant gold reflections when exposed to the sunlight is a species that can live up to 30 years ... This means it can grow to an enormous size! This big fish can be found in two of our clear water lakes at Wapoos Sibi.

Other fish species that are found at Wapoos Sibi include: Quebec Red Trout, Speckled Trout, Grey Trout and Pike. Fly-fishing is very popular at Wapoos Sibi for all the species.
